On the 17th of may, our band performed again at school, this time for the biannual school festival, along with a few other bands. We played the same pieces as at the ESSS concert, that is California Dreamin’ by the mamas and the papas and our own, jazz fusion inspired group composition called Find Out Later, but also accompanied a class of kids from fourth primary with instruments and harmonies on vocals to sing the Belgian nursery rhyme « qui peut faire de la voile sans vent » . We also wrote this accompaniment ourselves. I think the performance was a great improvement on our previous concert on our end, and we didn’t run into any major technical problems either.
